FP7 Agreements: Drafting and reviewing consortium agreements

Drafting or reviewing a consortium agreement means making a translation from project to agreement in terms of project and financial management. This workshop addresses the basic legal principles of the Grant Agreement and the consortium's freedom to make their own arrangements. We will demonstrate effictive methods of adjusting extisting consortium agreement models (IPCA and DESCA) to fit your FP7 project.

Writing Competitive Proposals for FP7 - 2011
This workshop 
is all about making your proposal the best competitive proposal. The FP7 criteria are science, implementation and impact. Based on the experiences in the first FP7 Cooperation  calls this workshop will provide you with valuable input for writing the sections on Implementation and Impact and to increase your chances by explaining general strategies and providing you best practices.

Exploitation and Dissemination Strategies for EU projects
The exploitation strategy of project results is dependent upon, for example, the aim of your project; the type of results, and the industrial sector.
Different exploitation strategies and technology transfer routes will be examined.
We will focus on how to adapt the exploitation strategies in the DESCA and IPCA consortium agreements models to your project.  
We will also discuss different dissemination strategies.

Full Cost Calculation and Financial Management for FP7 projects
In the morning the focus is on full cost calculation.
Using our in-depth knowledge of Full Cost Calculation Models, we will examine the different approaches for attributing indirect costs to different activities, cost pools and cost drivers, time recording and productive hours.  
In the afternoon we will introduce the FP7 changes and guide you through the new rules and will address amongst others: payment modalities, reimbursement rates, guarantee fund, pre-financing and cost certificates and, of course, the cost reporting modalities.

ERC Starting Grant call 2011This workshop is all about making your ERC proposal the best competitive proposal. Competition for the ERC Starting Grant is fierce, and it is not enough to provide good science! Based on the experiences in the first ERC calls this workshop will provide you with valuable input for writing a competitive ERC Starting Grant proposal. We will focus on the description of the Principal Investigator and project proposal using practical cases.

Marie Curie ITN Initial Training Networks (ITN's) are amongst the most popular schemes in the Marie Curie programme. An ITN is a network of organisations from different countries engaged in research training. The networks will offer a joint research training programme, responding to well identified training needs in defined scientific or technological areas, with appropriate references to interdisciplinary and newly emerging supra-disciplinary fields.

Marie Curie IAPP Industry-Academia Partnership Pathways are interesting for non-commercial research organisation and commercial enterprises collaborating together. Once basic requirements are met, the sucess rate is considerable.
